Answering the Call

"The Lord had said to Abram, 'Go from your country, your people and your father's household to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation...all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." - Genesis 12:1-3

When God called Abram to follow him, Abram had no idea where God was going to take him, but he followed just the same. God also promised all nations would be blessed through Abram - a promise fulfilled by Jesus, Abram's descendant. Today the call to follow Jesus is the same - to step out in faith and go where he leads. This week, make a conscious choice to follow Jesus in what you say and do!

Prayer suggestion - pray for someone you know who isn't currently following Jesus. Pray they would come to know him as Savior and Lord.
